Street Fighter Awareness - Ibuki: Stinky Footed Ninja Extraordinaire!

Apologies for the long delay, as there were a ton of things I had to do before I can fully continue this blog without delay. That being said...

My, how things have changed after a few months, and it's all thanks to Super Street Fighter IV. I'm very sure a lot of foot fans have rejoiced the moment Juri came into play, but that really wasn't enough. That is, until Street Fighter III made its presence known.

And today, let's look at one half of the femme fatales coming from the third installment that's rejoicing the upcoming fighter: one of my top favorite ninjas of all time: IBUKI!

Back in action!
Many foot fans would have their eyes fixated on Ibuki since her debut in Street Fighter III, when parries and super move selection were introduced to players all around. And long-time fans know Ibuki as an energetic high school kunoichi who yearns for a normal life, but ends up being involved in a lot of ninja activity, and that's a lot to deal with all in itself.

And if there's any ninja who helps define what I love about ninjas, it's Ibuki through and through. First and foremost, she does wear shoes as a high school student, and she is energetic after all. Secondly, her feet truly looks sexy with those cloth insteps, and that's hard to deny given that they came from a well-donned kunoichi like her. But let's face it, she does have the life of a ninja, fighting and sneaking. It shouldn't be a surprise that they'd be sweating a lot not only in her ninja work, but inside her shoes as well. Wouldn't it be great to have a third ultra involving her going towards her opponent's neck, trapping them with her legs, and planting both her stinky, sweaty feet on his or her face and make them smell it until they pass out?

That goes without question: Ibuki is the main deal for me getting the game, and I'm sure there are fans who feel the same.

Lucky Guy or not-so-lucky?

Artist Feature - Naigo

First off, apologies for the long delay. Here's to a bit of catching up, I'd say.

Thanks to KingsSideCastle for the review to the Naruto Feet Stories interactive! (http://www.writing.com/main/interact/item_id/1327862) When it comes to anime feet (and villainess as well), he's certainly in the middle of the action! (Check out his site at the right side of the site too!) And thanks to those who checked out my new blog site as well. Not that much of a blogger all around, but I hope to deliver.

Also, I see that there are a ton of fans for Sakura and Tsunade for the smelliest feet in the whole the ninja world! Wonder why? We'll get to that in a future entry.

But for now, I'd like to introduce to you a feature on various artists dedicated to the art of the smelly feet. Cause let's face it, art and artists are everywhere these days, and they deserve the spotlight as well.

Today's feature focuses on one of the most impressive artists I've seen on the Deviantart roster who focuses on smelly feet and the giantess genre: Naigo!

To view the artworks though, you gotta have your own account, which is fair by all means. But when it comes to the use of smelly feet in the artworks as well as creativity, everything that Naigo does is more than impressive! It's unique in its own way, from the use of smelly footwear to the use of foot odor all around. Not only that, but as of the most recent blog entry, commissions are now open! Check the site out, you will not be disappointed.

There are also various giantess-related stuff not related to feet, but they are just as impressive.

Also, yes or no: Karin (Naruto) should have her spot as one of the smelliest feet ever. What do you think?

And coming up, a new poll for you guys to check out!

Footwear Focus: Naruto-style Sandals

This is the first of many installments featuring footwear of all shapes and sizes. What better way to start off than with a very recognized pair in the world of anime?

You got to give it up to ninjas. They tend to do a lot of things on a regular basis. They go on missions, train, and do a lot of strenuous stuff to get the job done. I guess that's why ninjas need the perfect kind of footwear to give extra support.

And while ninja footwear has a lot of variations (which will be covered in entries to come), I'd like to focus on a particular style of footwear that got my attention a long time ago.

In the ninja world of Naruto, they have a fancy in wearing a unique style of footwear that is truly unique, and you cannot even consider thinking about how a character from the series look like without even considering what kind of footwear they'll be wearing:

Everyone's seen them, everyone knows them. You can't talk about Naruto without talking about them. But what makes these particular pairs of sandals unique?

Well, from the looks of things, they're definitely part-sandal since they do look similar to a pair of short boots. But to compensate, the toes are surely exposed, something of a trademark for many of the series' characters.

But be in their position. They wear a pair of sandals that only allow a bit of air exposure only on the toe area. They also tend to fight a lot and perform missions. Therefore, they sweat a lot everyday. Imagine wearing these kinds of footwear everyday. Can you imagine how they'd smell like after a whole day wearing them? It shouldn't be pretty, that's for sure. Not only are ninjas lethal by their techniques and abilities, but by the looks of things, their feet can be said in the same way.

No wonder there are people who are fans of not only the characters in the series, but with their feet and footwear as well. Imagine Sakura's long sandal-boots after a long day or Hinata's slender sandals after a tough mission. Or Ino, who definitely looks pretty, but then again, looks can be deceiving as the smell may be enough to knock someone out.

And how they can use their sandals, that's a different story. I've shared my perspective on how they might use them, but what else could they do with it? Could they cover their sandals on an unfortunate victim's face as a mask, or perhaps trap someone in a room full of the kunoichis' well worn sandals? Well, there's a ton of possibilities, especially for ninjas as you might imagine. From the standard-issue sandals, they've expanded to different variations, from the already-mentioned sandals (and its evolution) of Sakura to the simple-paired sandals of Hinata and Ten-Ten after the timeskip.

But imagination's limitless. What other possibilities or possible scenarios could these ninjas do with their sandals? What do you think about the potential use of these Naruto-style sandals? Feel free to sound off what you think in the comments section.

Naruto's made quite an impression for many years, no doubt about it. Great characters, great stories. But you cannot help but congratulate them for innovating one of the most interesting pairs of footwear anywhere, and they deserve all the praise in the world for that.

(And who do you think has the smelliest feet in the Naruto universe? Feel free to vote for whoever you think has it in the poll section!)

Finally!

Kusai ashi.

In Japanese, this translates to "smelly feet".

And it's been a while since I've been active, but finally, here it is!

I've been thinking about creating a blog site for a while now, and since KingsSideCastle, one of my personal favorites, have finally created a great site dedicated to anime feet (http://animefeet.blogspot.com), I've decided to focus on one of my favorites when it comes to feet.

Feet are smelly, that's how they're associated with. But that's why feet are also unique. I've created some interactives to share with everyone, like the Naruto Feet Stories and the Smelliest Feet Battle. And now, it's time for me to make a blog dedicated to anime and feet, but in a different direction that's mainly focused on the smell factor.

I'll be making a new interactive soon. Clue: It'll be about ninjas, and these ninjas deserve some credit for a while now. Until then, this is where I'll be putting up stuff when it comes to the olfactory aspect of one of the most underappreciated parts of the body, and anime.

Have a great day everyone!
